So - FI, Abuela and I went to a barbecue place today for lunch.
We sat at a table that had moist towellettes in a dispenser - as well as the usual - sweet 'n low, sugar, salt, etc in packets.
FI and Abuela were stuffing items into her purse - particularly the moist towelettes - so FI could take them for lunch. But also the sweet 'n low packets and salt packets as well. I felt this was wrong and a form of stealing. That they expect each person to use the amount of the products necessary for the meal - not take entire stacks of them. FI and Abuela said they are free..and it's not stealing.
I felt VERY uncomfortable - particularly because abuela continued slipping things into her purse throughout the meal. I mean why not take the entire ketchup bottle??
FI asked why I was turning so red throughout the meal - but I didn't want to sell his grandma out and tattle and be like "omgz, she keeps stuffing stuff into her purse!"
as she was sneakily sliding them into her purse.
Lol. I'm mostly just sharing a funny story cuz I'm bored

but I felt REALLY awkward the entire time.
Why do old people (and my FI) do that? My grandma used to do that stuff - until I asked her very politely to stop while I was with her.
