Photo Booth Recommendations?

We've been wanting a photo booth for our reception since day one...now that it's time to start looking into booking, I'm not finding anything under $1000! I'm finding this a little hard to swallow...we allotted $600 in the budget thinking that was reasonable. Has anyone in the Pittsburgh area found a good deal? Or am I just being unreasonable? Recommendations, please!

Re: Photo Booth Recommendations?

  • I've heard anywhere from $800 to $1,000. We are going to set one up using the laptop, an external webcam, monitor, and keyboard.

http://offbeatbride.com/2010/08/diy-photo-booth has a good tutorial on the hardware of it, as well as a software (for Windows)

They both have some good ideas on how to set one up.
  • Hello All,

ACCSVP is a wonderful company!  They actually offer packaging for photo, video, dj, and photobooth.  We had them for our wedding and loved them!  They offer just a photo booth for $650!  What a steal!  They bring everything!  This includes operators for the booth, a logo for the photos, all the props, the pens etc.  The operators will create a scrapbook for you throughout the night with pictures and for your guests to sign.  They do not limit how many photos they print out.  If there are 5 people in the booth and they want five copies they print out 5.  Also, they give you a cd at the end of the night with all your pictures on it so you can print more out, post them on facebook, etc!  My guests LOVED it!!  It was an awesome favor!  Their website is http://www.accsvp.com/.

    Good Luck!

  • We're using FineLine Weddings for our photobooth.  Their prices vary based upon season.  We're getting ours for under $600, but we're getting married in March.  I know they also offer package deals if you use them for all of your photography and videography as well.  We're using them for the photobooth only though.
  • We just picked our reception venue and the woman who owns it recommended Red Eye Photo Booths.  I looked them up and they look perfect, basic package for 4 hours id $650.
