Jack and Jill Wedding Shower Ideas!

Hi All!

So we are having a BBQ themed Jack and Jill wedding shower in a few weeks, Does anyone have ideas as to how we can decorate the tables? It will be outside under a 20x20 tent with maybe 6 tables or so. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!!

    Who is hosting the shower? I would let the shower hosts/hostesses take care of decor unless they have specifically asked for your input on it.

    my parents live out of the state so we are doing the shower ourselves. We are giving little bottles of my FI's bbq sauce recipie and doing a cupcake/candy table. Other than that I can't think of anything else!

    So you're hosting it? It's not good etiquette to host your own shower, which is a gift-giving event. It doesn't have to be hosted by your parents, but if no one else offers to throw a shower for you, you shouldn't have one. It sounds like you're already well into planning it and probably don't want to cancel at this point,, but just a heads up that guests may side-eye this.
