To those who had an anniversary dance...

how long did it last? Did you do it with one song, or did you play two? What song(s) did you use? I'm thinking of playing "More Today than Yesterday" by Spiral Staircase, but I was thinking if I did two songs, I should do one where a woman is singing.

We did not do one at ours, but at other weddings that have that I've been to, I'm pretty sure it only lasted 1 song.

We didn't have one, but I ran a bunch of them when I was a DJ. I think one song would be fine (I think I usually ended up using Anne Murray's "Could I Have This Dance?") as your DJ should be able to space the "sit down now" directions accordingly.

You could use two songs, but if you have people that have been married for 50+ years, two songs might be a long time for them to be on their feet and dancing.

Thank you ladies! :) I think I'll probably just limit it to one song.
