Flowers: Call Irma at De Vinnie's Paradise (210) 885-1052,  They are willing to make sure that you get what you want within your budget.

Officiant: Jim Berrier was the officiant at a ceremony I went to this weekend.  His contact information is Jim Berrier 210.862.1756 jim_lesberrier@hotmail.com.

Also, ask your venue for any suggestions.  Hope this helps.

You can have a friend or family member that is a good public speaker get ordained online to do your ceremony.  I think that's reasonably inexpensive.

If you have a small budget for videography, check craigslist or talk to the local community colleges for students in their film department or for someone who is just starting their business.

Flowers:  I'm using SA Budget Bridal and they are reasonably priced.

DJ:  Holtz Entertainment is awesome.  Ruben is our DJ and he's going to play a bunch of Latin stuff for our cocktail hour.  I completely trust his discretion.  If you decide you want to book them, PM me and I can give you my name.  We booked on a recommendation from a previous client of theirs and they gave me a discount.

Definitely!!  Irma at DeVinnie's is wonderful!  She is so enthusiastic and she will work with your budget.

Wish I knew more about officiants...

I am also on a budget and getting married in less than 8 weeks :)

I have based all my decisions on recommendations, many from the Knot.

Hair & Makeup:Mary Coop. http://www.averygoodhairday.com She is very inexpensive and also very nice. Even called me on a Sunday to answer questions.

Flowers-Erin at Eden's Echo. Prices are great. I just gave her my budget and pictures of flowers I like. Still working out details but so far I'm happy. I am considering buying online, www.Budget bridal.com which is much cheaper, but I'm kind of afriad.

DJ/Photo-I'm still looking. There are so mnay referrals! I'm leaning towards Skeem photography and no idea on a DJ yet.

Venue-Hilton Palacio Rio. Very easy to work with and great prices. Not so great for guest rates.

Drury Inn & Suites-gave us great rates. location is on the Riverwalk and breakfast and happy hour included.

You may want to look at The Spanish Gouvenor's Palace (outdoor only) and La Orilla Del Rio Ballroom if it's in your budget to book venue with separate caterer. Both very pretty.

Hope this helps. The Knot has been my favorite and msot helpful bridesmaid :)

And here's a videographer I may use, also highly recommended on wedding wire www.budgetweddingvideos.net

If you find more budget stuff could you please share with me :). I'm also looking for DJ who plays latin and all kinds of international music, and is affordable.

I couldnt get Skeem or Caitlin's Creations, both are booked on my date :(

If anyone is looking for a photographer my future mother-in-law might be just the photographer for you! She is very reasonable when it comes down to pricing and has some really wonderful to show you. Feel free to take a look at her website.

The name is her business is Photography by Sandra Hernandez and her website is: web.mac.com/srh2002

She has taken our engagement pictures and will take my bridal portrait. The day of the wedding her brother who is also a photographer will be taking pictures so we don't have her working!

    Hopefully, this helps!
