Welcome! I saw you post in another thread and wondered if I had missed your intro (glad I'm not going crazy).

How do you feel about Harry Potter, cheese, potatoes?

ETA: Gah! Irish got to it first. Do you like to read? What's your favorite book?

I'm from Souderton, Irish! I used to work at Q-mart...small world Smile Currently living in Bloomsburg, but moving back to Philly area for grad school (hopefully).

I like cheese, generally. I'm a big fan of gouda, but pepper jack is my absolute favorite.

I like Harry Potter, but I'm one of those people who got into it later in life and never had a chance to read the books...so I watch the movies and that's about it.

I'm a white zinfandel kind of girl, not huge into red wine...though I did have a really nice hot spiced red wine once that I absolutely loved. It's a shame I can't remember what kind it was.

I could eat sushi every day and never tire of it. There isn't a type of sushi I wouldn't love!

Mashed potatoes are of the gods, I'm certain. Now that you've mentioned them, I'd really like to have some Tongue out

My favorite ice cream is Edy's rocky road...because it has real mini marshmallows in it, none of the marshmallow goo stuff. These are legit.

Hi Ollie! I love to read! Picking a favorite book is challenging, I've enjoyed so many! Overall, I'm pretty nerdy when it comes to psych stuff, so a lot of what I read is memoirs and autobiographies of people who have struggled with different disorders. Otherwise, I love a good murder mystery Smile

Oh you have to read the books! The movies are good too, but the books are where it's at - you miss so much otherwise!

Welcome to NEY! I was a psych major in undergrad and am about to start grad school (after 4 years off) in counseling, so I think that's awesome what you want to to and good luck getting into the program!

Hi! I'm impressed that you're a psych major. I took one class and it put me to sleep. :)

Good luck with grad school. Admissions sucks, and I don't know how it works for psych, but talk to professors and get to know them. It increases your chances :)

    Fur babies!!

Stella, Celeste, Luna (L to R)

Stella being an alcoholic (water, of course)

Booger Bear (top) and Prince (bottom) as babies...they're much bigger now. They grow up so fast *tear*

It turns out I don't have any pictures of Stan or Winston currently, but they're both solid colored, Stan is champagne colored and Winston is black (and graying, old man).

And this is my darling kitty cat, Wolfgang Amadeus. He likes to sleep, run around, eat dust, and play fetch (I kid you not). He also has an infatuation with our window sills.

There you have it, my sweet little fur babies!

Thanks Kaitlyn! Aww, thanks Rdr! I love rats! My cat likes to watch them, but never tries to get into their cages. He's very well behaved! I'd love to join the book club, Raven. It'll give me an excuse to make some time for myself! I have been meaning to pick up some Agatha Christie, I've been recommended to do so several times, but never got around to it. From the sounds of it, her work is right up my alley. Anne, sounds like we have similar interests. I'm actually working on a researh study with my neuroscience professor to compare effects of food addiction and cocaine addiction on the physical brain. It's pretty crazy how similar addiction is, even over a wide range of stimuli.
