Well if she is not washing her clothes properly and she has a smell issue it's probably just transfering. But, it may be something healthwise too? Maybe she needs to get checked out.

I had an employee that was awful when it was that TOM, just nasty. But, she was not a clean person.

[QUOTE]Sara, I've got a friend that has whiskers. I mean, not just a little facial fuzz, but actual whiskers. Some of her CW's call her 'Fiona' behind her back (Shrek). People have asked me why and I have no answer. The whiskers are on her lip & chin are dark and wiry. I know she knows b/c on special occasions, it's gone and I think she actually shaves it. Oy.

Thats what wax is for! Shaving only makes it worse, so I've heard ;)

I've been working lady, and was way late to the morning thread. Hope is all with you.

I was in line once behind a very very dark black woman. She had really long wiskers but they were completely white and so starkly noticable. I couldn't help looking at them and wonder why she didn't do something, there were probably 10-15 longish white hairs. I will never get that
  • I am so worried about the appraisal on the house we are buying, since it is an acreage and they don't count the land towards the appraisal, I am freaking out trying to figure out if we can take more money out of RRSP's to cover the difference and I don't even know if there will be a difference yet. I am such a worrier. Also, I feel like something might go wrong since I told my close friends and some family that we got the farm since everything was approved and didn't even think the appraisal could stop it from going through until a coworker mentioned it.

[QUOTE]So I'll add a confession - I wax my face (my cheeks, chin, lip, & brow) once a month. I don't have whiskers but I did have a very fine blonde fuzz on my cheeks. I love getting waxed. Kd, I've heard shaving makes it worse, too.

You love the way it feels afterwards, or when they rip it off?
  • I confess that I think my parents are legitimately somewhat racist. My sister in college told them she went on a date recently and when my mom asked if the guy was cute, she told them that he was handsome, a football player and black (she mentioned black because when she said he had a "Taye Diggs" thing going on my mom had no idea who that was). Apparently my parents shook their fingers at my sister and told her about how "those guys" are only after one thing. Like white guys aren't after one thing?

I dunno, it just rubbed me the wrong way to hear that. When I was dating I did get the impression that my parents would prefer I dated white guys but I seriously thought it was a joke. Now not so much.

The whole process. Wierd eh?

  • Confession: I have little wiry hairs on my chin. I check for them every freaking day, and I either tweeze or wax them. The little fuckers keep growing back. I told H we should use our tax refund for electrolysis, but he'd rather do something "useful" with it, like buy new tires for my car.

A woman at my church has terribly long chin whiskers. I cannot stop staring. My best friend seem to have a bit of a mustache, which went away while she was pregnant and nursing. She's super self-conscious, though, and I cannot think of anything to say.
  • jcb, thats awful! I can't imagine SHAVING my face. weird.

and kd, EW, about the TOM. I don't think it's anything health related. If it were, it'd probably have been found. She at the doctor a lot, for various things.

  • AATB, my parents are legitimately somewhat racist too. One of my best friends in high school was black, and they were legitimately concerned that we would start dating. I could have assuaged their fears by telling them that he was gay (which was true), but they're a somewhat homophobic as well. :|

I don't like it, but I've come to accept it.

  • AATB, My grandparents are unabashedly racist. It's awful.

It's one of those things that I don't want to accept, but I don't have much of a choice in family. But I do call them out on it on the rare chance that I actually see them.

  • Nebb- my confession is similar to yours. I cant wait to expand my garden this year and get it started.
