  • This is somewhat venty but moreso confessionish... the MOH in my BFF's wedding (who is also a good friend of mine) just found out she is pregnant.  I am thrilled for her.  But the woman is due three weeks before our friend's wedding and when I showed concern for her being tired and hormon-y she kind of brushed it off like it was no big deal.  Like "Oh I'll be fine, I'll be ready to party down!"

I mean, don't get me wrong... I am so excited for her and her H to have a baby.  But if she thinks she isn't going to be flippin exhausted being a bridesmaid in a wedding three weeks post pardum and being up all night with a baby the night before and all... well, I kinda think she is in for a treat.  I'm just glad it's her and not me, lol.

</div><div>I found out one of my really good friends is pregnant (with their second) literally the day we set our date and had reserved it with the church.  I had called my BF/MOH to let her know and she told me "oh, didn't you know X was pregnant."   She is due two weeks before the wedding and we still want her to be in it, but only if she feels up to it.  She understands (and we do too) that she will be tired, and that it will be an exhausting day for her (you know with the carrying the human inside and all).</div><div>
</div><div>I don't think you're a bitch for thinking that.  She may not realize how exhausted she will be til the baby actually comes.  Especially if it's her first.

If you do it the way we did it, yep.  And it could've been cheaper if he wasn't a dumbass and ordered the paperwork from some random website.  I could've bought them from a Legal Forms place by where I work for like $25, but he ordered them with all of our names and addresses already entered, so they charged him like $150 for that.<div>
</div><div>Plus the filing fees and the notary costs.  And that was it.  We had no attorneys, because there were no major assets to divide.</div>
