We met with Mike this weekend.  He was so nice.  I think we're going to go with him, just got to decide if we want an album or not.  We're also getting family portraits done when FI's kids come up this summer.  It was FI's idea to get nice pics taken of all of us for the house.

    Yay! That's awesome!  Mike's a great guy, I think you'll be happy with him. Congrats on (almost) being able to check photographer off the list!

    Thanks Cara.  I think we'll be happy too.  Just feel weird going with the first one we met, even though i've been looking at every blog of the photographers sugguested by girls on here.  He's my favorite in our price range and we got along... I think I'm just getting sticker shock.  I knew I wanted to be in the 4K range, but now I have to write the check it's like o_O.  He's so willing to work with us it's great.  I just have to keep telling myself it's what I wanted to splurge on.  i have issues departing with money.

    And go with your gut, who cares if its the first one. I met with 2 only. The first was a douche IMO, haha so I didn't wanna use him. Then I met my girl, and fell in love with her. And Mike does great work. congrats, I hope you do pick him

    B2B - HAHA really?! MAN we could have met up.  We went to a subway for lunch near there.  Then we toured all around that area thanks to the GPS.  It's a pretty area though.  Thanks for reassuring me on going with my gut.  I have the contract filled in just have to write the check and sent it.

    I know what you mean about parting with money, especially so much of it.  I wouldn't worry about only meeting one person before booking.  I'm sure you've looked at plenty online and are making an educated decision.  Booking a great photographer, in my opinion, is worth it.

    We only met with one other photog, who was also a douche, and then Mike.   We booked said douche, but quickly cancelled once we saw Mikes work.
