Anybody have any ideas for ventura/west los angeles?  trying to go local... near westlake village/ Thousand oaks. agh! just started looking!

    Welcome!   You can search for venues on herecomestheguide.com    and weddingcompass     These are two very useful sites that will help you find locations within your area. 

        Also depending on your budget and guest list, here are some to consider: Westlake Village Inn, Calamigos Ranch, Maravilla Gardens, Lindero Country club.
