QOTD

What are you doing in your ceremony - a unity candle? Sand?  Something else?  Were did you purchase them from?

    We are doing a unity candle.  I found out that Puttin on the Glitz will do a personalized one for less than $20, so I'll be going through them.  I just have to pick what I want to do exactly on it now!

    We aren't doing anything.  Ceremony will be short and sweet :)

    I would love to do a wine box ceremony but I doubt my FI will go for it.

    Traditional Unity Candle.  DH was not into the sand or something else that wasn't "normal".  I bought a set of candles from Michaels with a 40% off coupon and we rented the holder for the candles to sit in from Meredith Party Rentals.

    I did a unity candle.  Bought it from Hobby Lobby during a 50% off bridal week, and it only cost about ~$13 I think.

    I made ours.  It had a super cute paragraph on it.

    "We pledge to each other to be loving friends and partners in marriage.
    To talk and to listen, to trust and appreciate one another;
    to respect and cherish each other's uniqueness; and to
    support, comfort and strengthen each other through life's joys and sorrows.
    We promise to share hopes, thoughts and dreams as we build our lives together.
    May our lives be ever intertwined, our love keeping us together.
    We will build a home that is compassionate to all,
    full of respect and honor for others and each other.
    May our home be forever filled with peace, happiness and love."

    Sand ceremony!  I just bought a decorative vase and 3 small vases that went on a tray (one represented God) to use to pour.  I loved it!  Got them all from Hobby Lobby.  We got a lot of compliments on it.

    We're doing a unity candle. My mom found it at Hobby Lobby on sale, and she bought it without even asking... haha! Good thing FI and I like it.

    None of the above? lol. We're having a very traditional Catholic Mass, no extras...
