Fun Bachelorette Party Ideas

I am looking for some fun Bachelorette Party ideas (especially for a smaller city) that are not the normal bar hopping.  Let me know fun ideas that you did or parties that you have attended.  Thanks for your help!!

Take wedding out of it.  Think fun get together.  Now go:

Our DD had her b-party at Medieval Times followed by Dave and Busters.  DIL had a "Make your own designer handbag" party followed by lunch out.  (There's a designer handbag factory that opens on weekends for private parties.)

As retread so ably explained:  sporting event, theater or concert, picnic, movies, old-fashioned slumber party, spa day, museum visit, quilting party, nice dinner out, game night, karaoke, some type of class.

Go to a local chamber of commerce or hotel chain and look at the area attraction brochures.  You might be surprised to find something close by that you've never been to.  Go online and look at Minneapolis visitor guides:  lots of options there also.

We had a party bus that took us up to Mohegan Sun for the evening. (A big casino in CT) There we were able to go to restaurants, bars, clubs, or go gamble.

I like psychic parties...tarot cards, palm readings, laugh over your future with the girls (however, they may not all be into it but it's a fun idea!)

    backyard bbq?

    spa party?

dragshow? (i see youre from MN...bigger cities usually have some great shows!)

i agree with PP about winery- did this for a girlfriend that got married in June, so much fun! we just went for the day to one of our local places, but i think it'd be fun to make a weekend out of it!

i would also rec mountain trip or beach trip (not sure where you are located) if possible- just a fun girl's weekend!
