  Thanks Nancy, I appreciate that advice.  I think it's really important to maintain your own credit as well.  Especially since I've worked hard in the past 10 years to always have good credit.  I'm proud of my sucess with that and refuse to give it up.
  
  Since this post, DH and I have talked about opening a credit card together to be used for groceries, gas and joint spending.  I think this will be easier on us and more fair as well.  As of now, we take turns grocery shopping and with other household expenses.  This way, our personal cards will be for personal use and the bills will be lower since we won't be adding household costs to them.  Then, we will pay that bill each month from our joint account.
