Just wanna tell everyone on the east coast & possibly impacted by the hurricane to please be safe this weekend and pray for everyone. I've checked up on my family in different areas.....so I wanted to do the same for my knottie sistas. Take care ladies!

    Hey ladies and Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!!!! I'm from New York city and this storm hasn't hit us hard yet. Right now there is rain and some wind..Tomorrow the weather will be worst with heavy rain and strong winds. As of 12 noon the Governor has issue the MTA a city wide shutdown- No subway, busses, metro north and Long island railroad for the whole weekend. Certain parts in New York city had evacuated. The city open shelters up for those who have to evacute. I'm not to sure about New Jersey or Connecticut right now. My FI is a cop and he is on call so i might be by myself later on tonight :(  I'm praying that others are safe and I will keep y'all updated.

    Our town had to be evacuated, we flood on a regular rainy day and we live across the street from the beach. So for now we are staying at my moms.  FI got called into work today (he does roadway maintenace for the highway authority) and more than likely will be there until monday afternoon.  Even if he did get out of work he wouldn't be able to get back to us because they shut down the south bound direction of the parkway =/.  There hasn't been much going on except for wind and rain.  Tomorrow is supposed to be worse.  We shall see.  Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, I need them for my sanity because my little ones are not the huse bound type lol =)

    Thanks for thoughts and prayers ladies! We are as prepared as can be and just have the rain now, a few towns have already been evacuated :(
