One of my best friends in the whole wide world just found out her husband's dad has cancer, and it is not the "easily-treatable" kind. Because her parents are no longer alive, this is her children's only granddad. He is at every one of her son's baseball games and daughter's gymnastics meet. They are 7 and 5, so he is really important in their lives. Please pray for wisdom as the doctors figure out what they can do. Please pray for healing for him. Also, just keep her whole family in your prayers because this is seriously hard for them.
