    I agree with this actually. Well, I don't HATE Macs, but I've owned 2 macs in my lifetime (a powerbook laptop I bought in 2004 and one of those crazy-colored iMacs from the early 2000s) and both of them suffered mechanical hard drive failure that caused the computers to be rendered unusable and required really costly repairs. They were only about a year old each when this happened too. I've never had the hard drive just outright fail on any of my PCs. *knock on wood* Definitely PCs have their fair share of problems but overall I'm sticking with PCs, no matter how much I might be tempted by another cool Mac laptop ;)

    I love Apple products and I don't care who knows it! 

    Beatles- my FI is a software engineer too, and he loves Macs.  It's pretty much all he works on- one of his SE friends is totally anti-Apple, though.  He's always talking about how much better his Droid is than the iPhone.

    I couldn't have said it better.

    Young girl's hormone levels are still changing, and a lot of them can't just use the BCP. My hormones never fully got leveled, thus I can't do the BCP.

    I would explode if the government managed to get a way to force my daughter to be on BCP.

    I don't even like that they make girls get HPV shots.

    But how would barrier methods be mandatorily (I just made that up) enforced?  There would be a whole condom task force and some kind of sex bat signal would go off and they'd all run and hold the couple down and apply the birth control?

    Interesting! Well, I guess it's a matter of preference then, but I bet either way our guys would both defend to the death their opinions on this, lol. Sometimes I'll tease H about it for fun, and then I get the lectures about how PCs are better but people only <em>think</em> Macs are. ;)

    I never think newborn babies look like any parent.  Ever.  They all look the same except for race, gender, and baldness.  They also aren't cute as newborns.

    See, my H is also a software engineer. He has a number of PCs and a Mac Mini, so he can learn to develop for the iPhone. He would never dump money into a more expensive machine than that because he knows it's not worth it. In fact, he souped up his Mac Mini to do what he wants, because once you crack open that expensive white case you find the exact same components used by all the other manufacturers.
