XP- Invitiation wording

Which of these sound better? My fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves so I wasn't sure which one to use.

    The text on those is too small for me to read. I can tell the first one says "Together with their families" but I can't make out the second one.

    Dang- Basically on says "Together with their families" and the other says "The Blank and Blank families cordially invite you to attend the wedding of their children...."

    I prefer together with their families, if that's the only difference. It's simpler.

    I also prefer "Together with their families". The other way seems a little too wordy.

    Well neither of our parents are paying for it, we are paying for the whole thing.

    If your families aren't helping pay, then they are not hosts, and you are not required to put their names or 'with their families' on the invites.

    The Knot has a whole FAQ on this on their invite ideas page.
