One of my friends had a bday yesterday.

She texts me this morning that her boyfriend got her 2 pairs of flip flops for her birthday and that she was pissed that he totally missed the mark on it.

Ok.

Keep in mind, for Valentine's Day she got him workout shorts from Target. And for his birthday less than a month ago, she got him a pair of shoes at DSW (because he needed summer shoes to wear to dinners with her grandparents) and a couple of shirts from TJ Maxx.

I think she kind of set the bar on that one. And she's ridiculous to begin with.

    if they're keeping score with each other, they deserve everything they're going to get.

    I don't get the complaints either. I said that she needs to keep in mind what she got him.

    Her response was that he waited until the last minute and put no thought into it.

    So, I'm assuming she thinks that she put a lot of thought into buying him a pair of shoes that he can wear when they go to dinner with her grandparents.

    Did she flip them over?  Maybe there was a proposal on the bottom side but it won't show up until she walks on the beach with them.  *giggles*
