Q&A 12/6

What is on the menu at your wedding?

EDIT: Sorry for asking the same question. When I first read the menu post the other day people were only posting buffet or sitdown and not the menu...so I thought I would check food. Now that I went and look people after me were putting their actual menu :P

I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.

  • I know I already posted it in the other menu thread, but here it is again. I forgot to list the bread/butter last time.

Fire Roasted Vegetables - vegetable mixture herb oil marinated and fire roasted OR Asparagus - steamed, then sauteed in olive oil (we can't agree on the veggies, but it will be one of the two)
    Daphinois Potatoes
CAKE! - vanilla with a raspberry compote AND red velvet with a almond cream cheese filling

We'll also have a complete open bar (beer, wine, and liquor).

  • We are keeping it simple as well (& we are still going rounds about this particular aspect of our wedding)

meat, cheese, veggie, fruit, elephant ears & crackers to snack on.

My first thought as I was reading your menu was three girls sitting around a table tasting your food and two of them loving it and one girl just ripping it to shreds. (Seems that is what always happens on Four Weddings!! You can't please everyone I guess) ha but I was like I wonder what the girls are going to think....

Has that thought driven pretty much your whole wedding planning because I think I would totally get caught up in that
