Calling all il Tulipano brides!

Hey Brides,
   Congratulations to everyone! I'm getting married at il Tulipano on May 16, 2014. We looked around to a few places but when we walked into the venue and saw the grand staircase, large cocktail room, amazing ballroom, and beautiful grounds we fell in love! I was wondering if any il Tulipano brides could give me some details about their wedding, good and bad(if any)! We are attending a bridal showcase there in September but I just can't wait for some details. If you have any advice about certain things that I need to pay attention to (things you liked or things you would have changed about the reception) from your own experiences that would be great.  Thank you!     My friend was married there in May 15th 2010 - it was great!  The food is really fantastic and the courtyard was great.  The only thing I can think of was I think the dessert room ended up a little hidden and i'm not sure everyone (meaning me) found it.

    Been to a couple weddings there and they were all amazing. Great food. They are known for how awesome there food is. Now just pick a good DJ company and you will have an amazing time! Congrats.

    I was a guest at a wedding there is past March.  My only complaint about the place was when it was time to toast the new husband and wife, we didn't have champagne!  There weren't enough servers to ensure everyone was ready for the toast.  They poured ours AFTER the toast had already been done.  Make sure they have it out on the table before the reception starts!
