OMG I can't believe it's August! I guess there won't be too many of these left...

THIS PAST WEEK

-booked a limo

-RD is all set

-call my seamstress and left a message

-emailed my hair lady about what BMs want hair and makeup

-emailed my "worksheets" to the DJ and musicians

-started making my programs

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

-Hopefully set up an appointment for my first fitting. I know I'm a bit beind but my dress really only needs to be hemmed and bustled.

-Groomsmen should be getting ready at the hotel...find out what all of their plans are for the night before and wedding night and such as far as transportation/accomodations.

-call my photographer to discuss timing

-escort cards should be coming...fill them out

-email my officiant

So yeah, I feel like 99% of what I'm doing is just coordinating people and emailing/calling vendors.

I so agree! Call here, e-mail there. That seems to be where I stand.

This past week:

*Scheduled two of four dance lessons for next week
*E-mailed DJ with contract updates
*Reserved linens for two tables we will have at the park
*E-mailed rental place asking about reduction in chairs needed (as we get RSVPs back)
*Met with officiant at the ceremony site to discuss movement and timing
*Continued making placecards as I get RSVPs

It's getting short on time and very real!

This Past Week-

- Fiance's suit came it! It's being altered now

- Gift for my parents arrived

- Ordered frames for table numbers (1/2 off at Kohls- w/Kohls cash I only paid $15 for 10!)

- Finalized ceremony music (just need to mail in the packet to the string quartet)

- Finalized pre- wedding hotel stay for Fiance and wedding night for myself

This Upcoming Week-

- My dad is going to the venue with the lighting people to discuss ideas/logistics

- Mom is sending ideas for placecards/table numbers for me to choose from

- HOPEFULLY Groomsmen will get back to us on their sizing so we can order the suits

I was super productive this past week...thank goodness! Here's what I got done:

-Mailed our wedding invites! (I feel so relived about this)
-Got our marriage license
-Finished buying MOH gifts
-Emailed florist for final meeting
-Emailed church for final meeting
-Started designing our menu's (we're using the same etsy seller who did our invites)
-Bought ceremony decor
-Attended a Natural Family Planning session (which is our last requirement for the church!)
-Put a deposit down for a DOC coordinator
-Started a packing list for the wedding and HM
-Asked my cousin to sing at our ceremony
-Ordered RD invites
-Paid off our honeymoon!!!

This week:
-Finialize details with caterer
-Finalize menus
-Decide on readers for the church
-Submit engagement annoucement to paper (if we wait any longer it'll be a wedding annoucement)
-Order lawn games from Amazon
-Order lawn games sign from etsy
-Bug FI to get GM gifts :-)

Last week:

Ordered thank you gifts for my mother and sister

Reserved and paid for rental car for wedding weekend

Figured out the Best Man's attire

Determined colors for both guy's ties

Bought all the flower supplies we will need to DIY

Purchased the few remaining under the dress items I needed

Got the last 2 flower pots we needed

Received latest pair of shoes and decided they were the winner

Table number holders arrived

Fleshed out the to do list for the next 2 months included weekly and daily break downs near the end

Got a quote for having my make up done at MAC

Next week:

Order ties

Contact photographer about equipment we're buying him (a friend)

Send check for balance on rental house

Work on the damn ceremony (shouldn't allow myself to do anything else until this is done)

Call MAC to make an appointment

Find packaging for favors (yellow wrapping paper is a myth it seems)

Email friend about having brunch at her restaurant

Talk to BM about having after party at his work

-made final payment for honeymoon
-made final payment for photographer & videographer
-made final payment for cupcakes
-sent out emails to readers & parents
-finalized flower counts
-almost done tracking RSVP's (had our rsvp by date come and go)
-got final haircut
-sent out RD invites
-sent out thank you's from my shower &bachelorette last weekend

this coming week:
-continue working/finish present for my dad
-order dan's dad's present
-second fitting!!
-dan final haircut
-start working on seating chart
-finish other projects: centerpieces, programs, menu cards, slideshow (if i can!)

I didn't really do anything wedding wise last week. I need to get on that!

Last week:

~Bought another component for the BM gifts

~Ordered parents gifts

~Got in touch with MANY limo companies

~Attend bridal shower

For this week:

~Finalize limo/minibus plans and officially book it.

~Update RSVPs in Excel spreadsheet

~Buy a flower hairpiece before hair trial

~Go to hair/makeup trial

~Write thank yous for bridal shower

~Finish writing up extra table decoration

...After writing this I realize that I still have a million things to do that I haven't even listed. Scary! I should really write out a list...

40 days for me! This is crazy!

Last week:
-met with florist, finalized/changed some things
-might have finished registry
-received GM's ties
-FI finally ordered/bought a suit
-found a discontinued lugguge piece of mine for HM

This week:
-hair trial 8/11
-FI picks up suit 8/11
-schedule makeup trial

-meet with MIL regarding RD 8/9

-call deacon with some questions

-FIND/BOOK LIMO!

-bug FI about rings

-hopefully receive my earrings!

48 days to go for me!

Didn't do much last week but all of the groomsmen picked up their suits except for one. Still need to order ties.
Girls have their dresses 3 out of 4 need to get the bust taken in. The girls still need to get shoes.
Had my bridal shower which was amazing!
Was supposed to have venue meeting but canceled due to road closures

This week/weekend:

Venue meeting
Engagement pictures
Final dress fitting!
Pick songs: first dance, mother, and father, cake cutting...
Go over and finalize ceremony script

Last weekend: Met with florist, worked on candle arrangements, ordered napkins
Yesterday: met with venue coordinator, picked menu, etc; picked out H's tux
This week: hair trial Saturday (and since it's the day before my birthday, we will go out to dinner and I'll have nice hair!)

order signs for reception
finish buying jewlery
