• Mandy, are you implying that perhaps, Heels has SNAKES too? Well, I guess maybe she HAD snakes, but all the bats ate them?

• So, are you just supposed to swat them out of your house until August, Heels? I couldn't handle that. Eeeeep!
In Response to Re: did everyone take an extra long weekend? : I don't know yet. I can't put it together until I move to DH and redecorate our dining area. :( One more fucking thing in my life on hold until my house sells! But I bought it in case they run out. The box is REALLY small, considering the finished size of that sucker is 32" DIA, so I'm guessing it will be an enormous pain in the ass to assemble. :) I call it my Gigantic Dandelion, and I'm in love with it.

I have hope that all you have to do is stick the flowers onto a rod or something.  We picked up the keys today, and I counted 5 lights that we need to buy.  FIVE.  If that thing is that big, there's no way it can go in our living room.  That's too huge.
• Heels, I hope those bats go away ASAP.  I don't mind bats outside, but I don't want anything like a flying mouse inside my house!

I know what Mr. Heels means about thinking he has rabies.  My friend had a bat in her house last summer, along with a 3 month old.  They were convinced the bat may have bitten the baby, and the baby had to have all of these rabies shots.  I thought they were probably over-reacting (they didn't see bite marks or anything), but I guess better to be safe than sorry.
• Yeah, if it turns out to be too big to go over our table, I'm going to hang it over Chloe's bed. She'll shiit her pants! :)

We have a white back painted glass top table and white leather chairs with metal legs, so I think this will be awesome over it. With a pale grey wall and either red or yellow accents. I'm so excited to actually decorate something I plan on living in for a while, instead of decorating for someone else to buy my house.
• Heels found baby snakes in her backyard once.  ::shudder::

• LOL Mandy knows all about my snakes.  That sounds kind of dirty.

They do kill mosquitoes.  But I can deal with mosquito bites over bats in my house.

The cute bat guy can seal off any holes inside the house to keep them from getting in, so from now until August, they will still be able to reside in their bat condo below my awning, but they won't be able to get inside the house.  He is pretty sure that it got in through a vent that runs all the way from the attic to the basement, so it should be an easy fix; the only hole is the area in the basement stairwell where the vent comes out of the ceiling into to basement, if that makes any sense.

Aww!  If I had a baby, I would freak out, too.  Their bites are tiny and usually don't even leave marks.  The shots are like $800 though (according to Mr. Heels' coworker who has dealt with this before).
leah - montreal ♥ ♥ ♥ i need to go back soon.  but i am never driving there.  NEVER.  my grandma is dying, i might be having to take a trip to marieville soon. Posted by mandysmear
Aw, I'm really sorry to hear that.

Surprisingly the driving wasn't that bad. Usually I'm really tense when Ryan drives but I wasn't at all. It really is a beautiful city.

• Yeah, we have some nasty varieties of snakes around here. My little sister once brought my big sister a bucket full of baby copperheads when we were lying in the sun. She was around 5yrs old and just scooped the "worms" up with her shovel and put them in her bucket. I honestly think my older sister shiit her pants that day.
• I know and I know they say that about dreams but really? when in the world was I thinking about The oc recently or my old friend I haven't thought of since HS having a crush on a knottie? or using wooden spoons and shouting letters to chase of buffalos? I'm not saying I don't ever think or talk about E rings because I do, because we (T and I) talk about and look at them.

• the drivers there are absolutely nuts.  we drove through a couple years ago on our way to quebec city.  it was insane.  never again.

There should seriously be a sitcom about you and your sisters' childhoods.
• We often marvel at the fact that my mom survived, Heels. It's bad enough that we are so close in age, but we are also both fearless idiots, and I look at my girls and absolutely cannot imagine them doing even 1/10 of theshit we did. I would be in the looney bin. I rarely tell them childhood stories because I don't want to give them any ideas.
