How did your Marriage License get handled post signing. 
Did you send it in or did your officiant?
Is there a carbon copy you keep or do you get an official copy back in the mail?

    Hello!  Our officiant gave us a carbon copy at the wedding and he sent in the original for processing.  In the township where we got married (Franklin Twp in Somerset) we didn't automatically receive the official copy... we had to fill out a request form and pay a fee.  Another NJ knottie suggested making 3 copies which I did - I have one, DH has one and one is in the safety deposit box.
