Bay... I really hope your H can cut down to one job soon. This sounds CRAZY. But I have to say, it's kind of par for the course in the medical field. My mom worked some crazy mofoing hours sometimes.

I finished our CHristmas cards (BB helped me put on the stamps) and wrapped 3 presents (BB calendars that CVS finished last night at 10 pm) for the gparents this morning before 7 am. Then I found out that CVS gave us an extra calendar because there was something wrong with one of the others. I thought they gave us an extra because it wasn't ready even though we had a received an "it's ready for pickup" email. So I had to unwrap them one by one to find out which one was messed up. Murphy's law...the messed up one was in the last one - the one for great-grandma that I had taken extra care to wrap nicely and put in a box for shipping. So I am now re-wrapping and drinking an extra cup of coffee.

I love that dress, Froggie! I tried that one on myself, but it looked terrible on me lol. My rack was (is) just too big.

Snippy, we're thinking he's going to put in his two weeks' notice after New Years. That way, he can still use his vacation time when we go away, and then he can hopefully rest a little. I felt like a jerk, because it was just the straw that broke the camel's back yesterday. I knew he would potentially be working 7 AM - 3:30 PM both days, but I didn't think he'd also be working the other job both nights. That seems a bit much to me. Fortunately someone took his 4 - 12 Christmas Day shift, and he knows someone who is looking for a 4 - 12 Christmsa Eve shift...so with any luck, he'll be able to switch that, too, and just be working the 7 - 3.

Stacks, J is super cute.

Today I'm taking my mother to get a few last minute gifts for my dad. We're also going to the turkey farm. She has a herniated disc and is on some pretty strong pain meds, so she can't drive.

Cooper has been acting sick for the last few days. His stomach is really upset, and he looks, sounds (and smells) terrible.

Morning everyone.

So far behind on Christmas shopping this year. I don't know what my problem is, but I'm thinking it's a darn good thing I took Friday off. I'll probably be joining the throngs of harried, snippy last-minute shoppers.

Since so many of you seem well versed in the cooking and baking world, I'm hoping someone can help. My mom used to make some sort of Christmas cookies that she thought were Hungarian, but I can't seem to remember what they're called (so I can't find a recipe obviously). I remember they were really yummy and had nuts and some sort of jam-like filling. Any ideas?

Good morning everyone! I've only read through page one, but Stacks if you need another person to tell you J is a-frickin-dorable, well... SHE'S A-FRICKIN-DORABLE! Man, you and Trevor make cute kids.

So good news/bad news. The move to Utah has been delayed while Adam's company tries to figure out if we are going to Tucson or Utah. The bad news is, I have to go back to work while they figure it out. The good news is, that means I'll be back on the board more regularly! Probably starting in the second week of January. I really don't want to put Turkeybutt in Daycare, but Adam's boss has offered me a temporary job there. If he says I can bring TB to work with me (he's done that for other people before) I'll go work there instead of my old job.

Manda, that would be the best if you could bring TB to work with you. A move to either area sound fun, but personally I like the Utah one. So many, many place to ski!

I'm assuming he'll be fine soon. I started measuring his food, rather than letting him eat as much as he wants. He's now getting the maximum recommended serving, so maybe he's just adjusting.

He was getting a little heavy, and I want him to stay in a healthy weight. By no means is he starving.

Rosie, I was just distracted for about 15 minutes because of that youtube video. I had to watch it, then send it to all cat lovers I know, and then click on similar links for more cute cat videos....youtube+baby animals=vicious cycle.

I'm almost done with final exams. It's annoying because I want to be doing more christmasy stuff but instead I have to study and worry about this one particular test that's guaranteed to be a doozy.

Yeah I have too! My boss has me calling people to collect money...most of them aren't even in their offices, i'm like "This can't wait until after the holidays."
