Jr. Bridesmaid

I have a 10 year old niece that I chose to be a Jr. Bridesmaid. My only question or issue is that it won't really be symmetrical because we don't have someone to be a Jr. Groomsman. Can we just have her walk down the isle by herself and stand alone or will that look tacky? Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks!

She can walk down the aisle alone; she doesn't need a male counterpart. But why would she have to stand alone? She would stand with the other bridesmaids.

Ditto pp. My jr. bridesmaid (also ten years old) walked just after the ring bearers, immediately before me, and stood with the other ladies.

Ditto pp's.. my Jr. Bridesmaid will be walking by herself without a male counterpart. She's my younger cousin and was just so excited that I asked her to be a part of the wedding.

Oh and I forgot to add that she'll be standing with the rest of the bridesmaids during the ceremony. I don't see why she would be standing by herself.. she'll just be walking down the aisle by herself since there's no male counterpart. HTH!

She can walk down the aisle alone and there is no need for a corresponding Jr. Groomsmen.

My Jr. Bridesmaid is walking down the aisle with the ring bearer (her younger brother).

I think you can have her walk down the isle by herself no problem. You can either have her stand with your other girls or have her sit where your flower girl and ring bearer are sitting...which ever she is most comfortable with. My fiance's ten year old will be our jr. bridesmaid. Originally I wanted her to stand with my girls, but she is kind of shy and doesn't want to, so she is going to walk alone and then sit in the front row.

looks like we are al in agreeance on this one...i too will have my daughter (shell be 12 at the time) to walk alone as a jr bridesmaid and i wont have a counter part just because i think shes too young to be walking down isles with boys...lol and she will stand with the rest of my ladies....

thanks everyone! I agree with her standing with the other girls, just wasnt sure if it would look odd or not. You're right, it's about her being a part of the day and not about symmetry.
