Re: Hi Guys.

  • Oh, yeah, and she's a tax/accountant person, so yeah.  I guess she just can't stay away!

  • Guys. I am going to clean up my desk and then stare at the computer for the next 45 minutes.

You are welcome for the update!

  • So, the GBCK was a big AW show?  And she came back anyway?  On yet ANOTHER SN?  I really don't understand.

And, yeah, TR - I felt the same way about the story the first 10 times I heard it.  After that, it's hard to get as bothered by it.  But, indeed, it sounds horrible.  And I'm sure they were going to be ill with that much alcohol to begin with.  I can't imagine that a fish swimming in it helped at all.

  • LVB - why'd you smell so awful?  What's up with that?

  • I've been forced to be productive at work because everyone needs everything right now OMG THE SKY IS FALLING! :)

However, the hangover I'm nursing after last night's festivities with Kate and LVB is definitely worth it.

I can't say that I'm that surprised, but I think that's weird and a little sad. Didn't she post with another sn right after, so this is yet a new sn? Don't you have to enter a different e-mail for each? I couldn't keep up with all those passwords.
  • Something just clicked in my brain. I'm not on SB enough know everything that happens (I still don't know what happened with SoFla and the banning thing), but yesterday Marriedfilingjointly was posting and seemed to know a lot about the boards. Acting like someone who had been around for 6-12 months, at least. I figured she regularly posted elsewhere or was sort of infrequent and I just hadn't really seen her before. That makes sense now.

You guys outpaced me. By a lot. But I'm super paranoid about drinking and driving. My hangover started on the way home. I woke up feeling great this mornign though. WEll, my eyes weren't please with me, slept in my contacts. But other than that, I slept SO WELL.

There was a particular frat at Purdue (and other colleges with this same house) that would eat live Goldfish at parties. One particular alum of this frat is now a QB for a successful NFL team...

I should take it slower next time! I get bad hangovers and woke up around 1ish with a throbbing headache. It's been going strong ever since.

So you're down with the organizing part; what about the writing each recipe from it's printed counterpart part? Cause we could go halvsies, no problem.

  • I am trying my hardest to be useless today but I have had too much work to do.  Blah.  H is away this weekend so it's probably going to be low-key. I might take myself to see Going the Distance tonight, and tomorrow night I am seeing some girlfriends for wine and Chinese food.

You just need them on index cards, right?  Do they have to be handwritten?  Or if you scanned and I converted that to text for you, you could print them on the index cards.

I hadn't seen that site before.  Dunno how well it works.  I have a tool on my laptop at home that does it too.

A friend of a friend's last name is Pizza, and that's what he goes by. He's currently a law student; I can't imagine having a lawyer named Mr. Pizza. Or John D. Pizza, Esq. It's weird.

I would totally use pizza as an adjective.
  • Thanks, squirrly! The reason I was going to write them out instead of typing them is because our Microsoft Office trial ran out on the laptop and I can't shell out $150 for that until at least the end of October. But scanning them would be even easier. I'm a computer dinosaur, for real.

  • [QUOTE]In Response to Re: Hi Guys. : You should try out Open Office for the time you don't have Microsoft's.  It has most of the functionality and look of Office, and can open the files.  It's also free.  Just in case you needed an Office suite between now and when you buy Microsoft's :)

Thanks! I'll check into that once I get home!
  • LVB and Birdie- I was a champ last night.  I have never in my life been able to hold liquor like that.  I had 6 drinks and barely felt it!  Maybe it had something to do with eating 5 appetizers between the 3 of us?  And peeing every 30 minutes?
