Where did you get your dress?

I have looked at Bridal Designs in Grapevine and David's Bridal but I haven't found THE ONE.I have found alot of ones I really like but not one I just love.

I would like to find a dress under $1,000 and I'm thinking of looking at Terra Costa and Angelo...something...any other dress store suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

I dont know if you'd be willing to go out this far, but Brides and Beyond in Cleburne has a very good selection. I bought my dress for $236.00

Have you tried Circle Park Bridal in Addison?  It's all off the rack (selection changes all the time) and most of their dresses are $750 and under.

I got mine at Bridal Co in Denton as well.

I wanted a dress 'off the rack' and I too liked Circle Park Bridal in Addison.

I ended up finding my dress at Anonymously Yours in Dallas though.  The area is super shady, and it is definitely not your typical bridal shop, but if you don't mind a sample dress then I promise it is worth a visit.  I got a brand new sample Maggie gown for just over $300.

I called Circle Park Bridal a couple days ago and they don't sell plus size gowns. I was really looking forward to shopping there!

Got mine at Terry Costa near the Galleria--loved it. Take advantage of the trunk shows

I got mine at Lasting Bridal Couture in Addison.  They have a pretty nice selection of sample dresses, and the ladies are all really wonderful there.  I'm going to pick up my dress today (it actually came in almost 3 months early)!  :)

Same as Tiffany, I went to Anonymously Yours also .  It is a gently used and sample store.  I lucked out, my dress had was brand new since it was a sample at a bridal show.  I paid about $650 but paid in cash since they give you a discount if you pay that way.  I lucked out, it needed very minor alterations and I loved my dress.

I bought my dress at Lulu's and it was under $1,000.  I'm still in the middle of it all, but my experience has been great so far.

Are there any places that sell plus sized dresses (or up to size 16) that is not David's Bridal or Alfred Angelo? Those are the only two places that I have in mind to go to and wanted more options.

Mii's definitely.  That's where I got my dress at and was able to try on a variety of dress sizes.

I bought my dress at Eastside Story Bridal in Plano. I do think they are going out of business, or already did. I bought my dress there in July, and it was Marked down from over $1200 to $299. I would definately look them up and see if they are still open.

I got mine at Terry Costa- great experience. Terry Costa and Denton Bridal both have plus size. I also went to Lewisville Bridal- they were less than pleasant about my size, budget or that it was only 4 months out from my wedding and it would definitely take 5 months or more for a good dress. HA! Terry Costa got it in a week!! However, I will say Lewisville Bridal was by far the most attentive in the dressing room and pulling dresses to try, etc, but with too much of a snoot attitude from the get-go. It may have just been the lady I got. I could definitely see how someone could have a decent experience there too though.

Terry Costa is having their Maggie Sottero trunk show this upcoming weekend - I plan on purchasing my dress on Saturday from there!  They have been really nice to work with so far :)  I think they recommend making an appt for the trunk shows.
