Harmony Hall /Civic Club of Harrisburg

I have a meeting with someone this Sat.  What is everyone's thoughts on these two venues?  Has anyone already had their wedding at either of these places or been to weddings there?  I just wanted to get a feel on what everyone thought. THanks!

    They both are beautiful venues but are a little pricey.  I have never been to a wedding there but I live down the street from Harmony Hall.  I am sure if you have your wedding in either venue it will be beautiful.  They have been in the business for a really long time.

    I had my wedding at The Civic Club.  It as a prefect setting and everyone loved how unique it was.  We had our ceremony in the garden and the reception was upstairs in the ballroom.  The food was good, but they do not have a liquor license there so we had to bring all our alcohol.  And I was a l ittle concerend about the parking since there isn't any on site, but we didn't have any probelms

    I attended a wedding at the Civic Club. I felt it was very nice and a beautiful venue. Cocktail hour was downstairs and outside. The couple had pictures of themselves throughout the downstairs to view during this time which made mingling around the house interesting. I didn't utilize it, but they had a trolley pick up guests from their hotel to transport. I lived locally so I found street parking.

    I got married at Harmony Hall last year and it was perfect! It's a gorgeous venue, Karen's food is fantastic, and Jill (the DOC) is wonderful and very helpful! I can't say enough about how great Harmony is. I keep hoping that someone I know will get married there so I can go back. lol
