  We did pictures before the ceremony but not together.  We didn't put our wedding rings on for them.  We also took pictures while our guests were at the cocktail hour and those are the ones we have with our rings on.

  We did pictures before and absolutely did NOT put on our rings. They just took the ring-wearing detail shots after. Worked great.

  I've been wondering about this, but I don't think we're going to.  It's such a tiny detail, I don't think you'll be able to tell in the pictures.  We'll be sure to get a few close-ups post-ceremony of the rings.

  Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
