Make-up costs

Hello,
Just curious what you're paying for make-up...I'm going to have a trial run and then day of wedding make-up my girl is charging me $85. If BMs want to have theirs done she's charging them $75.
I've never had my make-up porfessionally done so I'm not sure if that amount is too much or an average amount.

I would imagine that make-up artists charges are probably regional or locally different. In my area I remember getting quotes for $40 to $60. Sorry I'm not much help - maybe asking on the local board for your wedding area would provide more solid answers?

It definitely depends on your area and also whether you are getting airbrush or regular foundation. Here in Dallas, regular foundation runs about $75 and airbrush $110. So those prices aren't out of line.

Ditto PPs. It depends on your area, so I would ask your local board what the average prices there are. In Vegas, the price range for the best MUAs are $150-$250. My MUA charged me $175 for the day of, I didn't have a trial since it cost an extra $100.

MUA start at $250 and go up from there where I live. Trials are around $100 or more. This is why I'm DIYing my makeup

My make-up and hair for the day of will be $250. Like PP stated, I think it varies quite a bit.

You might want to check if someone from a talent agency does hair and makeup. I have a great relationship with one and she's doing ours for $45/hr. Mine will probably take a half-hour and 15min per each girl that wants it.
