That even though its just an internet chatroom The Knot has really made me some of the best friends I have especially what I have gone through in the last 2 months...I dont mean to get sappy but thank you to each and everyone of you:) Have a great New Year everyone and be safe

    :) Thanks cheryl it helps to vent stuff here even if its not wedding related ...my husband is having a very difficult time with this and a hard time opening up to me and I dont think he really understands what it all means either..thanks for you guys always listening

    He needs to open up though darlin', if he doesn't he is just going to become angry about it....obviously not right now but as long as he does eventually all is good, i know it doesn't seem that way but I promise :)

    I feel the same way!  When I first joined, I mentioned something about TK to my SIL and MIL.  Her wedding came and went...and while SIL was active on TK (not this board) she went to I think one GTG.  She mentioned it was 'weird' to go to a knottie's wedding.  At that time, I said something like "Oh, I'm just using it for ideas, I think it's weird too."

    And now, here I am....I've gone to 2 knottie weddings, invited to one other, various GTGs, laughed, cried, exchanged e-mails/ideas not just about wedding!  I've made wonderful friends whom I sure hope will stick around! :)

    Hugs Jen! I'm glad we can all be here for you.

    Its nice knowing there are ppl around who are removed from the situations we are going through but who we can still count on to lend an "ear" or send good thoughts and vibes.

    I have also made some wonderful friends who I hope will stick around, even though I'm like two hours away.  The women I met in 2008 and 2009 helped keep my sanity through his deployment and the rest of the wedding planning process.  I value my true friendships.

    As for what is going on with you, I feel terrible and pray that the pain goes away and you have your lil one.
