Today was my first major call-athon. I was so nervous! And I don't know why--it's ridiculous.
I left a message with the woman who I thought was in charge of the ceremony site (she's not anymore), and the woman who I want to cater the reception. Then I called this other woman who is a marriage commissioner (a 'JoP' here in Canada)... she was amazingly helpful and we chatted for almost an hour. She told me the ceremony site is no longer run by a community organization but by Parks Canada-- so now I get to deal with them.
Thankfully I've been emailing with the bookings guy for the reception location-- and we've basically booked it (we have to take a ferry to sign the contract, and I want to sign all other necessary contracts over there at the same time).
So now for some reason I still feel nervous. Anyone else nervous about calling folks for wedding stuff? Does it get easier???
