HELP! What do we say!

I am already married but we are having our BIG wedding MAY 6 (this weekend). the groom is an Airman First Class. How do we need to be presented at the reception? I know its usually Mr and Mrs .... do we add the airman first class part though?

This makes me giggle. I'm very tired though. We were introuded as follows (H was in his uniform), "For the first time as a married couple, Mr. John Doe and Ms. Stan SameLastNameAsAlways". Not by his rank.

We just did "Mr & Mrs. H Lastname" (which was mispronounced... ehhh)

Personally, it is his work title and I think it would be a little silly to be called by your work title.... "Petty Officer and Business Analyst H Lastname"

I realized why it made me giggle. You're already married, and I honestly think the introduction is not something you do at a vow renewal. You've already been introduced as his wife.

We were announced both at the service by the Chaplain as (Rank) and Mrs. Joe Doe Crown. That is what this Chaplain decieded to do and we went with it. I didn't really care. We were also announced into the reception the same way.

However, Stan is right. You are already intro as his wife.

Happy planning the vow renewal NOT big wedding.

EDIT- sorry didn't see it was this weekend so have fun at your Vow Renewal NOT big wedding.

Ehh, I think it's okay for them to be introduced at the reception. They're the guests of honor after all, even if we don't agree with it being referred to as her BIG wedding. Obviously it would not be preceeded by 'For the first time' since they're already married, though.

OP, we were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. HLastname. But I think it's matter of preference. Why don't you ask your H since it's his title?

OP, these ladies tend to be sort of bitchy because they're all already married and hate on us young girls still planning our weddings. If you want to be introduced as Airman First Class Smith and Mrs. Smith, I think that would be lovely and you should totally do it.

I had a line about his sacrifice but I couldn't stomach it. So. There ya go.
