I am the same way ABB. I have been trying to lose 7 pounds for about 6 months now. No worky!

This is what I think is happening to me. I weighed 132 for 4 years!! I kept about 15 pounds from having my daughter. Last summer, I fell soooo deep in love that I gained these few extra pounds and they sit smack dab in my baby pouch. I have been the same weight for a year now and I only go betweent 136 and 140. No more-no less. I found a spanx that looks like it will work.

http://www.spanx.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2990103&cp=2992553.3026774&parentPage=family
And the whole time, my future husband was in the room...... image image
Did you see the backlash about Jillian's new video? Apparently it uses kettlebells, but her technique is horrible because she is not trained in kettlebells. Its really easy to hurt yourself with those things if you aren't properly instructed, so I fear she will have more lawsuits on her hands. 30DS is awesome in a pinch, though, when I don't have time or motivation for anything else.
Posted by SarahPLiz
Yeah, I did read about that.
Kinda weird- seems like she would have done her research on them before just jumping in and making a video, ya know?
I hope its not a big lawsuit thingy. I kinda like her.
• Looks like it will work Court - just wish it wasn't so expensive! BOO.

Ugh... why is it that when I start thinking about my diet and exercise, all I feel like eating is Reese's peanut butter cups. And brownies. My God, the brownies.

• I would love to have some of Jillian Michael's muscle. I was really toned in high school when on the weightlifting team, then I had my worst case of pneumonia and dropped 15 pounds. After that I lost motivation to work out, though I did really love weightlifting.

I need to lose weight in my butt. I hate that I sit all day long, it makes me feel like a sloth. I think I'll force myself to to the treadmill this weekend.

MissC, maybe you could try wearing ankle weights? My mom wore them to school under pants since she's on her feet all day and she swears she lost weight in her thighs. Whether or not it actually worked, I can't say.

• Sesh - Sometimes I'm really self conscious of my butt. It's big. But my boobs are huge too so if my butt shrank (or vice versa really) I'd look weird.

Ben's an ass man though, so it all works out I suppose. TMI? Meh.

I've put on a couple pounds the last few months and it went to my boobs. It feels weird but H is freakin fascinated by them. As for the butt, he constantly compliments it but I'm still self-conscious. It needs some fine tuning.

The first place I lose weight is my boobs which sucks because they aren't exactly huge to begin with, and FI is a boob man.
So yea, not cool.
• I have an ass. It's flat.

My mom will shoot me if I lose more. I need to tone up. I have ankle weights, mainly bought to work on my knee, but I thought about wearing them to walk around too.

missy, you always make me giggle.

Squats help boost the butt.. I dunno anything about ankle weights but I bet they would help something? lol

Yeah, I've gained an inch on my bust since the end of May. I'm not all that well-endowed, so it really showed. FI's happy about it though. "They're so jiggly!" I think it's cute how he reverts back to 9th grade with me.

I have that one, and I hate it!! It rides up and the whole skirt part ends up around my waist! I have a banging asss so maybe that's the reason, but it I do not like it. I wore it to my friend's wedding, and i took it off in the bathroom. Any kind of movement from walking to dancing made it ride up and then I looked like I had some weird fanny pack under my dress. It also flattens my boobs, which I definitely do NOT need.

I currently have and like the Wacoal (sp?) brand that looks sort of like biker shorts with a high waist. It flattens the stomach and smooths out the butt and thighs without riding up or flattening my boobs. I suggest that kind.

I have that kind, but it rolls down from the top unless I tuck it under my bra. In a tight dress it might be ok.. or if you are actually shaped the way it wants you to be shaped.

• I havent heard about the kettlebells workout. Jillian will kick your ass to hell and back but it's so worth it in the end if you stick to it.

I have a flat ass too and it's like no number of squats are helping. I bought some ankle weights for some leg workouts. My thighs recently gained like 1 or 2 inches and I have decided that I am not enjoying it very much.

If we were shaped that way, we wouldn't need Spanx then would we?!
• Walk with a friend - it helps you vent and her/him vent too... and BAM you've walked a mile, and it felt like gravy!
