Wedding band

Hey ladies, I'm new to the board so I'm sorry if this question has already been answered. Does anyone have recommendations for bands that aren't $10,000?? I'm willing to spend a little more than I'd like for a band that really rocks my socks off. Thanks!!!!

I loved the band that played our wedding! They were amazing and much less than $10,000! We hired Soul Revival and I can't say enough good things about them. They were easy to work with from the beginning and sounded great at our wedding. I know they are having a showcase in Manhattan tonight, I highly recommend going if you can :-) Their website is: www.soulrevivalband.com

www.thetouchpage.com - we loved them and they are def more affordable than 10k! They play a mix of weddings and bars which was important to me. They were my favorite vendor second to the reception hall!

We looked at the In-transit band (depending on how many pieces you plan to book the cost could be under 10K) We wanted all 11 and the cost was close to your limit, which ended up being too much for us.

We also looked at the Tony T group. They are great. Much less than 10K. But FI (now DH) really preferred a DJ.

Also, lots of girls here have used Stolen Moments.

Also, if you are interested in a DJ with the option of live singers, Dance to the Music in CT is great. Spencer alone is outstanding!
