Hi all! I'm a former Knottie and am now helping my FSIL plan her wedding for next month. We're down to music...

What songs are you using? What songs do you like?

Their ceremony will be in a church, so she's thinking of staying more on the traditional side for that. Their reception is at Freedom Hall and she's open to modern and traditional songs. She has to pick out music for everything still...processional, recessional, first dance, etc. So give me everything you got! TIA!

    The girls & guys will walk down to Parachute-She Is Love
    I'm walking down to Mae-The Sun & the Moon
    then we'll end it all with Jesses Girl by Bruce Springfield (FI's name is Jesse, so I thought it would be fun) 

    & our first dance is Lucky by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat. :)

    for the ceremony (very traditional) we're using canon in D, ave maria and a few other classic wedding songs.

    our reception is more outside the box-
    WP entrance: i gotta feeling by the black eyed peas
    B&G entrance: welcome to the jungle by guns n roses
    first dance: moondance by michael buble
    cake cutting song: pour some sugar on me by def leppard

    Canon in D for us too - and possibly Time to Say Goodbye (the melody is wonderful - even if the sentiment is off. lol) 

    first dance: Grow old with you (Adam SAndler from the wedding singer)

    I can't remember the actual titles of other songs.  Best Day by Taylor Swift will be played at some point for my mom.  That's all I got. :)

    I am walking down to Cannon in D as well, not sure about the rest of the procession.

    For the WP entrance I think I am picking a different song for each member an introducing each one seperately.

    We're being introduced to Love Story (Romeo & Juliet) by Taylor Swift.
    Haven't picked a first dance song yet. We can't decide. :(
