Feathers

My Mom is going to be disappointed but I have decided against a veil.  My dress is long and traditional so I really want to shake it up a bit - it is Vegas afterall.  My accent colour is red.  So I think I am going to order this for my hair...



The feathers have really inspired me so I am thinking of doing something like this for my bouquet.  With either red or white roses and red feathers to match the headpiece.  What do you think?

    I think that sounds awesome.  I am using feathers in my hair and bouquet as well.  
    But I am sticking to white feathers but tons of color elsewhere.  I love that getting married in Vegas lets us have a little more fun with our looks.

    I like it! Where are you buying feathers? I am looking to use feathers for my AHR centerpieces and can't seem to find them for very cheap.

    I love the idea!!!  If you decide on white roses, I would add white feathers. That headpiece is so pretty!

    That will look great, I love it! I think red roses would look fantastic with it too. Your bio looks great - so glad I am not the only one not very traditional.

    Thanks everyone!  I thought about doing the white roses and white feathers but I just feel like the red headpiece would stand out too much.  It doesn't come in white so that isn't an option either. 

    So what would be the best combo for my bouquet incorporating the red with flowers and/or feathers?  Has anyone seen other photos like the pink one I posted using red?

    The feathers hair thingy is super cute. If mom gets really upset you might be able to attach the feathter clip to a cage veil. That might look cute.

    Thanks for the flower pics.  They are great.  Hmmm....started thinking about the cage veils.  Not sure if it will work with glasses and wearing my hair done.  Worried a little that the red will be over the top and not go with my dress (pic in my bio).

    Here is a white option that has feathers.  Not as dramatic as the first one though.  Maybe I could contact the red seller and see if she could do white. What do you think?  Go crazy with red or stay more reserved with white?

    I made all feather bouquets & I love them pics in my bio. I got the feathers from tonyhill.net and JoAnn fabrics.

    I love the hair feather idea! :)
