I went today and signed the contract and put down the deposit on my venue! We're going to do a small wedding so it's all going to be in the same room, but it's doable (and done regularly there apparently). It's at kind of a wildlife park in one of their event buildings. It overlooks the lake and it's very rustic. It's the place I wanted to do it when FI and I first started talking about getting married, but I didn't think we would be able to do it.
It's such a huge relief to have that done! Now I can move on to the fun stuff!
