After lurking for a few weeks on the Vegas board, figured I'd say hi! Really appreciate all of the honest reviews and recommendations, they are making this a lot less stressful!

About me (and us):

Getting married 4/21/2012 at MGM grand...thats about all planned so far! Going to decide the photographer soon (really enjoying Tyler Freear's work) and trying to sort through the restaurant reception options (considering Maggiano's very strongly). Hopefully going to contribute some to help others!

Brad,

Welcome to the board!!! I'm looking at getting married at MGM and saw that you were getting married there and hiring a photographer. I thought you had to use their vendor, Cashman? Or did you hire a photographer for after the ceremony?

We are using Cashman during, but we hired Tyler Freear before and after the ceremony. MGM allows photography on the property, just not in the actual chapel during the ceremony. Hope this helps!

welcome to the board! we had our reception at Maggianos. The food is amazing and our guests are still talking about it. It's a ton of food no one will leave hungry.
