When you're trying, it just seems routine almost. Like, OK, I'm 10 DPO (days past ovulation), time to test. Negative? Alright, 12 DPO, let's do this. Negative? One more for good measure at around 14!

My H justs wants us to find out together, instead of me knowing and telling him at a later time. But since we've had nothing but negatives so far, I've pretty much stopped testing and we just wait on Aunt Flo to tell us the results. Less hyper-anticipation that way. (mostly)

I guess I can see the point in that. But again, I only test when I'm freaking out that I might be KU and H always ends up stopping to buy a test to shut me up - cause for some reason my head tells me "if I buy the test, I'm telling myself it's possible that I'm KU" I'm crazy, I realize.

I'm not TTC to H is happy for a negative lol If one was positive I'd be freaking out and I'd definitely need him to lean on.

Kiki, in my mind right now it works out that we just stop trying to prevent a baby, and then if/when I'm late, I take a test. That may very well not be the case, or it may be the case for a few months but then progress from there, so keep that in mind in terms of my answer. If I were routinely testing multiple times a month just to check, then I probably wouldn't make a big production out of it every time, no.

Do people refer to it as BD because they have to make up a cutsie term for sex or because they've stopped seeing sex as something fun and intimate and only look at it as a way to reproduce?

Oh Kiki, I am NOT laid back. About anything. Ever. This is why I am currently telling myself that whenever we decide to have a baby, we'll be suuuuper chill about it. Because otherwise I can see myself going off the deep-end of charts and hormones and god knows what else and waking H up to have sex at exactly 3:14 am because that is the only time we will ever be able to have a baby, damn it!
