DJ or ipod?

Ladies, What are you doing for reception music.  Originally I thought of having a DJ for 3.5 hrs. during the reception. But, we have 28 guests and I am not sure if it's worth 750. Or instead rent speakers for the ipod and a mic (and have one of my guest introduce us)...hmmm?  My parents, who are dancers, are cool with the ipod idea but i really can't decide.  Will it look bad or will it be more of headache to have the ipod... What are you ladies doing? There will be an after party at the disco on the premises.

Re: DJ or ipod?

  • I'm going with an ipod.  I haven't read any good reviews about dj's in mexico.  The wedding planner (if the hotel has one)  can usually introduce you, do the cake cutting intro and that stuff.  I found it's really easy to keep spending spending but at the end of the day, having an ipod set up is going to be just as good and you'll have the songs you want.
