I just got married this past weekend and it was AMAZING! The whole night was so much better then I could of ever thought. After the wedding the wedding party and some of the younger people went out to the local bars and all. 

One of the girls threw up in the limo on the way home. This was an automatic $500 clean up fee. The girl the next day apologized to us, and said she wanted to pay us back but didn't have the money right now. I told her not to worry about it and these things happen blah blah blah. The next day she wrote me a message on FB apologizing again and asking what my address is so she can send us some money. 

I'm not sure how to respond to her message, and I kind of feel bad with how bad she feels. WWED?

    $500 is a lot for you to pay for someone else's behavior. I would accept the money without feeling guilty.

    I would totally let her pay. FWIW, my ex SIL blew chunks in my brand new at the time SUV and 500 would have been about right to get it cleaned professionally. Instead I got a half ass "sorry I was soooo drunk." It took me and FI hours to clean it. I still judge her for that ish.

    I think she feels bad and really wants to make this right! How nice! I'd take the money. It would make her feel better AND keep you from having to pay for something that wasn't your fault. And if she actually hands you $500 along with those 2 apologies, I'd work it in to conversations that she made it right when I was speaking with people who were there or knew what happened!

    Waaaait, SOME money or all of it?  She definitely owes you all of it eventually.

    I would thank her and say that you understand that money is tight (you just paid for a wedding!) right now and that you'd be willing to lay it out for her while she gets her act together.

    But you are under no obligation to make her feel better about yaking in the limo and you certainly shouldn't have to pay $500 because she can't handle her liquor!

    Oh, nice!  In general, I hate TK/TB because it's so user un-friendly.

    I was actually wondering if I was still the mod of the Arkansas board because I had gotten an email a few months ago asking if I still wanted to continue.  I said no, give it to someone else, but apparently I'm still the mod.  Fun times.  I should probably check that board more than every...6 months, huh?  Whoops.

    Perhaps I will check out the proboards thing.  I miss everyone but just don't have the time to post like I used to, and then it's so hard to catch up.  I wish I had a desk job, haha!

    "of" used in place of "have" has to be one of my biggest pet peeves!!

    Also, damn right I'd be accepting her money.
