Alternate Readings Not in Together for Life

We met with the pastor of the church where we are getting married this weekend.  We talked about our liturgy and he gave us a list he put together of readings that are good for weddings, but that aren't in "Together for Life".  I thought some of you might find them useful.

Old Testament:  Ruth 1: 16-18

New Testament: Ephesians 3: 14-21
                            Ephesians 4: 1-7
                            Phillipians 4: 4-9
                            Colossians 3: 12-15

Gospel:              John 15: 1-17  (can be broken into smaller readings)

I am doing Ruth. I really love that reading and FI's 7 year old niece will read it :)

My priest told me the readings in Together for Life are guidelines for couples who aren't as familiar with the Bible.  He told me to pick whatever I wanted.

    I think we're going with
Ruth 1:16-17 (I LOVE that passage!  And, yes, I am aware that it's really from Ruth to her MIL)
Colossians 3:12-17 (it is in Together for Life)
Matthew 7:21, 24-29 (not in Together for Life, and I recommend it to anyone because it's about having a strong foundation -- important in faith, important in married life)
