My NWR gripe of the day

FI and I have a standing joke about Kid Rock.  For his birthday, I'm going to get us tickets to see KR when he comes to MN.  they go on sale tomorrow.  "Presale" was today and already the good seats are up on Stub Hub.    How can a normal person ever expect to get <10 rows of seats without winning a contest or paying $300 each?  grrrrrr

your turn.

You can't, because Ticketmaster is in bed with the scalpers.
  • After switching his food to some ridiculously expensive hairball preventative, the cat went five weeks without barfing--a new record. In the last two days, he's done it three times. I just stepped in it--barefoot.

    Fuuck.

I never get <10 on the first try.  But then I keep trying until someone took too long on their order and their tickets are thrown back into the pile.  Best I got was row 2.

My gripe is about this creeper that I called to buy my old truck.  The truck is almost worthless... I was just looking to get maybe $2-300 from a salvage yard.  This salvage guy offered me $100, so I told him I'd call him back (I wanted to keep calling other places to see what they'd offer me).  So the guy keeps calling every single day for a week, but I was really sick and busy with school so I ignored him.  Finally I answer on like day 6 and tell him he can come look at it later in the week.  I had second thoughts and called him today letting him know I wasn't going to sell it to him (I know someone else who will buy it), and the guy was reallllly persistent about buying it, then rude when I kept saying no.  Now he's called me again after I hung up on him for being rude.

I'm legitimately creeped out that he won't just drop it.

    *Edit for spelling.

When do does the regular sale start?  There will still be good seats at face value at that time.

Do you have plants in your home that the cat might be munching on?  That's what happened to my cat.  He was eating my plant and throwing up a lot.  I had to move the plant out of his reach and as soon as I did that, the puking stopped.

ETA:  I should have added that the puking started right after we switched foods, so i kept think it was that.
  • Amy, they're hairballs. He and the dog do like to tag-team the fern, though. Cooper goes high, Dooley goes low. However, most of the houseplants get moved outside during the warmer months, and he can't get to the remaining ones.
