Great Photographer, budget price? Madison Area

I've been doing A LOT of research of photographers all over Wisconsin but continuing to look for more options. Can anyone recommend a photographer that does excellent work but who isn't crazy expensive? Thanks!

    What is your price range?  We are using Meir Photography.  Their packages start at $1695 and you get all of the rights to your photos, which can save you a lot of money in printing costs later.

    </div><div>The basic package includes 6 hours of photography, but other packages include 8.  I think there is a really deluxe package that is like 12 hours, but I"m not sure. He is also really flexible if that day, you want him to stay an extra hour or so and pay in cash, which is probably what we will do to get 7 hours rather than 6,

    My husband and I own Belle Film and Photography we are out of Oshkosh but will travel. We charge 50 per hour no limit to time or photos, you get 3 edits of each photo, a dvd of the photos, two photographers, and 3 prints. aditional prints and edits for low prices. My husband also offers paitnings of photos after pricing depends on size and number of peopel in the painting.     Lola Mae was our second choice and I think having two photographers is great. Ultimately my FI and I decided we liked The Salty Peanut Photography's style better, but is in the same range as Meir, around 2K.

    Some others recommended to me during my search was Alison Halkey, Captured Moment, and http://redleatherphotography.com/.

    If you are open to someone starting out, a lady from my hometown area is moving to Madison and does photography. http://www.caynay.com/

     Since the are in Madison and generally do out of town weddings (Africa!) they might be able to create a package for you. Tell them Kinsey sent ya!

    We just used GReyes photography (Gilbert Reyes, www.greyesphotography.com).  I'm not sure what his prices are now, but we just used him Aug 4, and booked him about 4months prior.  He was $900 for us (plus $125 to travel from Elgin, IL to the Dells), rights to all photos, unlimited hrs of coverage, him and his assistant (his wife).  Photojournalistic style, very passionate and easy going!  We just LOVED having him there, I'd totally recommend him!!
