Mini bus/shuttle service for hotel guests to/from reception

Looking for a reasonably priced shuttle for our hotel guests to drive from hotel to reception and pick up at Reception and drive to hotel. We would need a shuttle that fits at least 25 people, may need 2 trips each way. Don't want to spend a lot, just get a coach bus or mini bus. Any recommendations are welcome!!! Thanks!!!

The hotel you picked for your guests doesnt offer this as a service? Every single venue I looked at had a list of hotels that offered shuttle service to/from the reception for the guests.

  • Like PP said, I would check with your hotel. All the ones I looked at offered a shuttle service or built one into the hotel rate. It turns out the shuttle service our hotel uses is through our limo company that the venue recommended. If the hotel isnt an option, I'd check with your venue to see if they have any deals with shuttle/limo companies
  • I used First Class Limo for my shuttle service.  They are in Monmouth County - not sure where your hotel/reception is being held.

<div>I have not booked a hotel block, but this was the first thing that came to my mind. You might want to ask the hotel, or consider finding another hotel that does offer this (complimentary?) service.</div>

  • My reception was down the shore in Monmouth County and not a single hotel in the area offered a shuttle service.  I had to book this separatelty, but many of the hotels had discounted rates with the nearby shuttle companies so they were able to refer us.

  • Thanks girls. My reception is at Lake Valhalla in Montville, NJ.The two hotels I researched had shuttles but one was an 11 person van, the other a 15. I have only ever been on larger shuttles that hold 20 or mini buses. I may have 50 staying at the hotel and they can only make 23 trips. If anyone knows hotels in Morris county that include a larger shuttle, that would help!!
  • Like everyone else already mentioned the best bet is checking with the hotel, not all have them but most do.

they do, but they only offer shuttle van which fits 10-11 people.  we may have 5 times that amount staying at the hotel that will need transportation.  so i was hoping to find a hotel that offers a larger shuttle.  thanks for the feedback :)

it's in Montville NJ.  we are trying to find a hotel that has a shuttle that holds 20+, as well as the hotel offering complimentary breakfast for guests.  if you have any suggestions, i would love to hear them!!!

  • just saw this...thanks Liatris.  did you have any issues with the hotel or do you reccomend it? if this is the hyatt house, that is what we are looking to use! but we called the one on route 10.  i just called this one in parsippany today.  if they have a larger shuttle, we will probably go with them.  do you recall how big the shuttle was????
  • Thanks!!! I'll give them a call :
  • My friend had her reception there in September. We stayed at the Embassay Suites in Parsippany. I would check to see if shuttle service is included there. They were very helpful to myself and a few others, who missed the last scheduled shuttle to the reception. They took us in a smaller van to make sure we arrived on time and didn't need to call a cab.
