Hello I'm Lashonda and I want to get more involved in this board. I have been around for a while just as a "looker" lol, but I want to be active. My wedding date is July 21, 2012.     Thanks marryingmyknight and wallacje. I'm thinking about starting out small and doing a rhinestone cake topper. I also want to do the aisle runner, STD, and Invites. Maybe a few more things...I'm not sure yet lol. My colors are turquoise and apple green. I have booked my photographer, ceremony location (home church), reception venue, and makeup artist. Stll working on the rest.

    Yes, everything can be so overwhelming though! Trying to take it one step at a time. Your date is fast approaching! Do you have most of your things taken care of?

    Yes it is coming really quick.  No I would say I have maybe half my stuff done.  In some things I am in a stand still because I am not sure if my MOH's are going to make it or not which sucks because I bought programs already. I still need flower baskets, ring bearer bowl, jewlery, a hair and make-up artist, transportation, m&m's for my favors, what else. Lol!  I am suppose to buying my sisters dress and plane ticket since she is a colleg student(one of my MOH's) but she had a little problem and now isn't sure if she can come.  My other MOH is having financial issues and said she is coming but has made any reservations for anything(room, flight, dress!  yes dress) so I am not to confident that she will.I'm stressed about it all. Lol!

    I will be buying the flower girl baskets next week and finishing my brrom, oh I forgot about that.  It is crazy how none of my attendants have anything flower girl(has sash and head band) MOHs, best man, grooms men. No one but me and FI. Lol!! I laugh but it really stresses me.

    Lol! wow, you've got a lot going on. I understand how you feel already though! There's a lot of things I want to plan...but I'm not sure if my MOHs are going to do it or not. My MOH is my twin sister, so I know she will get things done right. All of your stuff will come together! I worried about having a large bridal party (8 BM and 8 GM) because I want everything to go smoothly. I'm pretty sure your party will get it together because they know how important this day is to yall! <= yes I'm from Arkansas and yall is apart of my language lol.

    Lol!  I say yall too, spent many years in Savannah. Lol! I sure hope they do because I am so stressed about.  I guess I just have to let it play out.  Hopefully I will have some checks again soon.  Lol!  I know I will.  I am so consumed by this wedding I can't wait until the day arrives and I can bear the fruit of my labors. Lol! I think 16 is not that bad I have seen larger.  I am sure your wedding will be perfect! Happy planning!

    Has someone already hipped you to Eddy (the guy who make the cake toppers?)  If you need his info just holla.  He makes them really cheap and then ships them to you plain so you can paint and bling out.  Again welcome and jump right into the conversations!

    Lashonda welcome!  I love, love, love your website.  The music, the proposal story, and all of your pics.  You did an awesome job.  I love that you were able to capture your proposal in pictures.
