Alright, people.

Chat with me. I've been super busy at work today and I need a mental break from the crazy. Who is around?

• I'm here.  I'm bored at work so I'm printing off recipes for stuff.  I found a recipe for homemade balsamic vinaigrette I'm excited to try.

• Sounds yummy AATB. I need to go to Costco so bad, we haven't had groceries in a long while.

I'm here.  I've been lurking a bit, but haven't jumped in for a while.

I'm on day 3 of a 3 day juice cleanse and I can't wait to eat food tomorrow.
• I have 43 minutes of work today, then I'll be going home to cook dinner.  I'm going to pick up some fancy cupcakes at this wonderful shop on the way home.  Tonight marks our negative 6 month anniversary (as FMIL calls it), so I'm trying to class up dinner a little bit at least.  I'm aware it's super cheesy, but hell, I just want the cupcakes.

• Had to go to the doc earlier to get my ear fixed. I rewarded myself with sushi (because that makes perfect sense). Have a serious case of the tireds now. Have to meet with my boss in a half hour. Wish I could go home.
• AABT, that sound yummy.

We make a salad with the following ingredients that we serve a Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing on:

spinach, pears, walnuts, feta cheese, craisens.

So good, we had it this week.

Hi Erin!
• I'm here for a bit.  H is at the beginning of a cold, so he's trying to sleep it off before work, and i'm at the end of a cold so grocery shopping this morning did me in.  We're a really fun bunch today.
• Amys, tell us more about the 3 day juice cleanse.
• No Edie, I haven't.  I just got the email today that they finally shipped.  I'm somewhat annoyed that they took this long to even get to that point.

• Daff, glad your ear is fixed. I have another maybe two hours at work until I can head home.

Dumdum, I think any excuse for cupcakes is a good one!
• I'm here at work, a bit bored so working on character creation for a D&D game.  Whoo, geekyness!  XD
Hi! I'm waiting on FSIL to drop by and pick up my dress. I took a little nap with Moose. He got a snazzy new haircut and looks so cute!

Ah the life Rachers!  Enjoy your day, you will be beautiful.  As will Moose (it sounds like).
Amys, tell us more about the 3 day juice cleanse.
Posted by ski2play
I bought a Groupon for a place here in Chicago and it's 6 juices per day for 3 days.  2 green juices made up of green veggies and fruits, 2 red juices made up of beets, apples, carrots and ginger, 1 cayenne lemonade and 1 cashew mild.

Day 1:  I had just returned 2 days before from a week long of binging in Vegas.  I had a headache and was a little hungry, but not too bad.  The lemonade was too acidic for me.

Day 2:  Woke up happy and not hungry, energized and ready for the day.

Day 3:  Woke up the same as day 2, but I'm just getting sick of the flavors.

I'm not doing this for weight loss, but I've lost around 8 lbs so far (I weighed myself this morning).  I'm using this to kick start my new health regimine.

Right now all i want is a salad.  Or at least a piece of lettuce.
• hi!  I'm putting off scubbing my bathroom.  i just don't want to do it, but it needs a good scrubbing.  I'm throwing a pizza in the oven since I just realized that I really haven't had anything to eat today.
I spent an insane amount of money today between taking Beefy to the vet and going to Target.  Whoops.

<div>I have to avoid going to Target sometimes.  I would go during my lunch break at work maybe 1-2 times a week and would reguarily drop 50-100 dollars.  That added up fast.</div>

• Amy, sounds interesting.  I have been looking at protien drinks, etc lately.  Not sure what direction to take, but a 3 day cleanse certainly sounds like a great way to start.  Thanks. for sharing.
• A Target is being built half a mile from my work. My lunchtime spending is going to go way up!

I also just Googled this robostir thing. It looks hilarious and awesome. I think I want one.
Natrasha, I love the Robostirrer.  H and I use it when we make stirfry because the sauce has to be stirred constantly.
Posted by edielaura
<div>I wish I would have had it.  I just made stirfry on Monday and ended up scorching the bottom of the pan with the sauce.  My fault as I wasn't paying attention, but still, I can't wait to get it.</div>

• I'm lurking around a bit.  I have just over an hour left in my day, and I'm exhausted.  My throat is sore- I cant figure out if it is because of all the pollen in the air or if I have strep or something.  It is getting progressively worse and kept me up most of the night.  I also have a buttload of phone calls to make.

I cant wait to go home and take a hot, hot shower.
Speaking of shopping, I think I need some new work clothes. I just got some coupons for Express that expire at the end of April so I am definitely going to keep my eye out for stuff there.
Posted by edielaura
I used to love Express when I was thinner. I think I might fit in some of their stuff again! I will have to check it out. Last Friday I bought a bunch of new work appropriate spring/summer stuff at New York and Company. Unfortunately now it's only 40 degrees outside and I'm back to wearing my winter stuff.

• crfb, I PMed you back.  Not sure if you saw that.
• Edie - I just got a box in the mail today from Express!  They had their clearance marked down an additional 30% online a few days ago - not sure if it's still going on or whats left, but I got some super cute stuff!  I have to send a few things back though :(  boo.

• Speaking of shopping, I got this:
at Goodwill yesterday for $1.99 for my future niece/nephew.  Yes, I am aware they won't use it for awhile :)  But $1.99!  And it looks barely used.
I also got a NIB rock n play.  My poor SIL.
