Bridal Party Hotel Check-In Logistics

This question has been puzzling me for a few days now...thought you ladies might have some advice.

Our ceremony will start at 4:30pm at Lake Mohawk Country Club. My bridesmaids and I will probably be in the bridal suite on location beginning at 10am to get hair/makeup done, get dressed, and take pictures before the ceremony begins. While we have not booked a hotel yet, most are 15-20 minutes away and most of my bridal party has family in the area (so I assume they will stay at their parents home Friday night and then book the hotel/utilize the shuttle service after the wedding on Saturday).

How will the bridal party check into their hotel? Do most hotels where you block rooms allow for certain people to check in early, such as the VIPs? Is this something I should try to coordinate?

    Where are the groom and the guys getting ready?  

    If any of your BMs are traveling with Hs/FIs/SOs who are not in the WP, perhaps they can check into the hotel prior to the ceremony, assuming you are arranging shuttle service from the hotel to LMCC.

    If it's not possible for any of the BMs to check in or have someone check in, they should just call the hotel to let them know they will be checking in late after the wedding.  That way the hotel will know to hold their reservations, and their rooms.

    <div>They guys will be getting ready at the hotel, so that is an option. I was also thinking that the girls with SO's could ask them to check in at the hotel. There are 2 single ladies currently, so may just have to help them out with logistices. </div><div>

    When i was in my friends wedding a few months ago, we were able to just check in late after the reception. Some of the family members had come in from out of state and were there early so the bride and groom made arrangements with the hotel to allow some guests to check in early. Talk to a few of the hotels in the area and see if they can make the accommodations you need.
