Story of my life, I stay up really late and then the puppy decides an uber early morning is in order. Now I'm waiting on the little thing to pass out again so I can go back to bed.

Well, I just took a gander, and it looks like because you'd fly out of MSP, you can get to Rome for under $800 in February. Rome's quite warm and generally stays sunny even during winter. And you could go farther south too.
